Bo Milli is one of the most exciting Norwegian artists currently working, and her new single, ‘Good Kid’, is one of her best releases yet. It’s a powerful, personal examination of her responsibility in the fight against climate change. The verses are supported by her delicate guitar strums and allow her introspective lyrics to take centre stage before the huge indie-rock chorus kicks into action and shows off her gift for writing a good hook. “No matter what I do we’re probably fucked,” she says. “So whatever I do (or don't do) regarding the climate crisis doesn’t impact whether I’m a good kid. This is the kind of reassurance I think I look for on some level during the many bleak conversations I have about our future.
